Tim Tebow decided to show up to workout with fellow teammates. Tebow is in his second year as a NFL pro and plays as a quarterback for the Denver Broncos. He was seen on field warming up and conditioning with fellow players like wide receiver Britt Davis.

In the past few weeks the media and football experts have blasted Tim Tebow for choosing to workout on his own and not go to practices with fellow teammates. However, when asked Tebow stated that he would just rather workout and work on his skills and it doesn’t matter if he was on his own, in front of cameras or with his teammates.

Tebow showed experts wrong by working closely with Britt Davis and never missing a beat. Workouts picked up right where they left off and neither player was bitter about the other working out on their own.

Due to the NFL lockout, NFL teams are not allowed to hold official offseason workouts in any NFL setting. The 12 Denver Broncos met up at the South Suburban Sports Dome where they warmed up, ran some sprints, worked on conditioning and just enjoyed each other’s company.

Many NFL players have reported missing the friendship and atmosphere that comes along with offseason workouts. This unofficial workout was organized by Brian Dawkins, a safety for the Denver Broncos.

The move gives the Bears the quarterback they’ve been missing for the better part of a couple decades while the Broncos get a servicible quarterback (who will compete with Chris Simms for the job) and a couple of first round picks they can spend upgrading their terrible defense.  There is also the chance that the Broncos package their two first rounders (or some combination of their 12 picks in this draft) to move up or acquire another quarterback.

A fine mess this is.  Now being forced to trade Cutler the Broncos will be hard pressed to get anything near full value for him while both Cutler and McDaniels lose a tremendous amount of credibility throughout the league.  No official word on teams interested in Cutler but the New York Jets and Tampa Bay Bucs are the likely landing spots for Cutler.

Tampa Bay Bucs – Tons of cap room thanks to the recent purge of veterans with large contracts would allow for a restructured deal.

New York Jets – Have been looking for a quarterback since Namath left, though if rumors of a trade have him rattled how will he handle the New York media?

Houston Texans – The Texans already have Matt Schaub but he has never shown the ability to stay healthy. Head coach Gary Kubiak was a former coordinator in Denver so the system is similar.

Chicago Bears – The Bears have been searching for a quarterback almost as long as the Jets and while Kyle Orton had his moments last season he isn’t the long term answer. Cutler has the arm strength to play in windy Soldier Field.

Buffalo Bills – They took on Terrell Owens and they haven’t been ranked higher than 25th offensively since 2002.

Minnesota Vikings – They just traded for Sage Rosenfels but Brad Childress has a job to think about and Cutler would be a significant improvement on a team that desperately needs quarterback help.

Detroit Lions – They have the draft picks and a great receiving corps. Trading for Cutler would make more sense than drafting a quarterback and make life much easier for new coach Jim Schwartz.

Cleveland Browns – This has been rumored but with Derek Anderson and Brady Quinn tying up a significant amount of cap space I really don’t see it happening.

San Francisco 49ers – The 49ers just restructured the contract of Alex Smith and have a three way battle for their starter. If you have three quarterbacks you really have none so Cutler would make a good fit.

Starting quarterback Kerry Collins re-signs with the Tennessee Titans. A good move for both Collins and the team. Unless a desperate team needed to break the bank, a 2 year 15 million deal for the aging veteran is a good haul for Collins.

Steelers guard Chris Kemoeatu spurned an offer from the the New York Jets and signed a $20 million, five year deal to remain with the Super Bowl champions.

The Denver Broncos filled their running back need by signing signed Correll Buckhalter and JJ Arrington to presumably split time next season. Just when fantasy owners thought the Denver running back situation may clear up.
